Hexad to marka założona w Singapurze przez dwie siostry. Gdy zakładały firmę obie pracowały na etacie. Jedna zajmowała się brandingiem i PR-em, druga e-commerce i social mediami. Zdecydowały się połączyć wiedzę zdobytą w pracy z zamiłowaniem do mody. Tak powstała kobieca marka, w której funkcjonowaniu dużą rolę odegrała siostrzana więź.
Pierwszym projektem dziewczyn była torba AVA z sześciokątnym uchwytem do trzymania. Po torbach przyszedł czas na biżuterię, spinki do włosów i apaszki.
Założycielki marki to zapalone globtroterki, których zmysły i kreatywność rozbudzają podróże, nieznane miejsca i kultury. Inspirują je sztuka, architektura i zapierające dech w piersiach krajobrazy. Tak jak na przykład islandzkie pola lawy, które przyniosły pomysł na projekt kolczyków Lava Lava.
Od początku do dziś, podczas procesu projektowania ważna była odpowiedź na pytanie: Czy same to założymy? Produkty Hexad to mix ponadczasowych klasyków z odwagą w eksperymentowaniu. Geometryczne formy, trochę koloru, różnorodność faktur i użytych materiałów.
The Hexad is founded by two sisters who at the time of the launch were holding full time jobs – one in branding and PR, the other in e-commerce and social media marketing. They discovered they had a lot of creative energies to expend so decided to combine their work expertise with their keen interest in fashion and see what they could make of it. This has led to the birth of their women’s label which they affectionately term their passion project. One main factor they attribute to the successful partnership is their strong sibling bond and up till today they continue to helm the creative direction of the brand. Label offers bags, scarves and jewelry – gold and silver-plated earrings, bangles, necklaces and rings.
The founders are avid globetrotters who find their senses stimulated and creativity sparked in new environments and unfamiliar cultures. They are particularly intrigued by fashion and art books, contemporary architecture like Antoni Gaudí’s whimsical masterpiece Casa Batlló in Barcelona, and stunning natural landscapes. For instance, the Lilja Lava Earrings are inspired by Icelandic lava fields.
The most important thing the founders ask is „Will we wear it ourselves?” The pieces you see on their site are what you can find in their wardrobes: a mixture of timeless classics, playful and bold items and occasional pops of colour.
